BioKimimaro was the son of a Yakuza group whose forte was killing. When the humans began to be turned, the members of the group began to turn on the others. Kimimaro managed to get away, hiding until the rampages died off.
Not old enough to remember much of his family and what he had learned, his human instincts were lost. He raised himself on the streets, stealing food from feral animals and finding shelter wherever he could. He was found by Orochimaru a few years later, barely human at all. Due to this experience, Kimimaro barely expresses emotion.
Due to his family's odd ability to manipulate their bones, along with the marrow, his body creates blood at an impressively increase rate. This ability appealed to Orochimaru, leaving Kimimaro the duty of becoming his primary source of sustenance.
Kimimaro owes his life and existence to Orochimaru, at least in his mind. He would do anything for him, even going so far as giving his life for Orochimaru's sake. This causes an infallible loyalty that is his primary weakness.
